A team from Mississippi Power arrived Saturday in Valdosta to help Georgia Power. The Mississippi team will aid with logistics involved in getting hundreds of line crew personnel on site quickly and safely after the storm and the needs they will have upon arrival, according to a Georgia Power press release. 

“We are very thankful for our partners at Mississippi Power and their team members helping us out,” according to a statement from Georgia Power.
