VALDOSTA— Due to Hurricane Irma, the following schools have decided to close:

Valdosta City schools, Lowndes County schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Georgia Christian School will be closed Monday.

Brooks, Cook and Clinch County schools will be closed Monday.

St. Johns the Evangelist School will be closed Monday.

Valwood School will be closed Monday.

Berrien County schools will be closed Monday.

Georgia Military College, Open Bible Christian School and Highland Christian Academy will be closed Monday.

Tender Years of Valdosta and Lake Park will be closed Monday.

Valdosta State University and Echols County Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Lanier County Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Scintilla Charter Academy will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
