VALDOSTA — The Lowndes High School Vikings will not play football Friday evening.

The game has been cancelled, according to a statement from the Lowndes County School System.

Opposing team Shiloh said it would not make the drive to Lowndes County due to “uncertain travel conditions” related to Hurricane Irma, according to the statement.

VSU also reports the scheduled Saturday Blazers game has been cancelled.

Georgia Christian reports its Friday night game has been cancelled.
