THOMASVILLE — Two suspects are facing a slew of charges resulting from a home invasion that occurred last week, according to authorities.

Brandy Elizabeth Turner and Jeffery Louis Tabb III, both of Thomasville, were arrested following the incident, which took place at a residence in the 2000 block of Cassidy Road.

Thomas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Cassidy Road incident and found a victim, one of four, bleeding from the head, according to an incident report.

According to Lt. Tim Watkins, sheriff’s office chief investigator, a suspect entered the Cassidy Road residence brandishing a gun and demanded money from the victim. Struck with the gun, which later discharged after striking, “a small amount of money,” was taken from the victim’s wallet, Watkins said.

Tabb was identified through fingerprints.

“He denied having any knowledge of the robbery,” Watkins said.

A photo lineup also was conducted with the victims.

“They were able to identify (Mr.) Tabb,” Watkins said.

According to reports, Turner came by the residence to retrieve some items and previously lived at the residence. Turner was reported to have left the scene when the suspect, later identified as Tabb, entered the Cassidy Road residence.

Turner later returned to the residence and the victims became hostile toward Turner, “saying that she was wrong for doing that to them,” according to reports.

Tabb is charged with armed robbery, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm or knife during a crime/attempted crime, and cruelty to children.

A minor was present during the incident, Watkins noted.
