Rants and Raves

Hidden courthouse
“I suppose our appeals to trim some of the vegetation from the courthouse square has fallen on deaf ears. Our beautiful courthouse is hidden.
Thanks
“I’ve been seeing more police patrols on West Boulevard. Thanks. Some people think it’s a race track.
Division
“It didn’t surprise me that The Observer would stir the pot of division with the rant about the removal of the confederate statue on the square. I grew up during the era of the KKK walking the streets of Moultrie boldly. It’s sad that this country and city can’t grow beyond those times.
Edge of war
“Only 200 days into the Trump presidency and we are on the edge of nuclear war with North Korea and KKK marching in the streets. Seems about right.
Call the sheriff
“After living in Funston for almost 30 years there is one thing I have noticed that we don’t have… a police department. What do you think the mayor can do about the drug dealers, and loud music?.My suggestion? Call the Sherriff’s Department.
Distractions
“All the latest protests and anti/protests are merely smoke and mirrors to distract us from the actual real, true news. Government of the people, by the State, for the Oligarchs continues unabated. Erase history. Winston Smith had that job in ‘1984’. Double plus ungood.
Term limits
“There will be zero arrests, zero indictments, zero trials, zero convictions, zero incarcerations in all of the Democratic IT cases. Everybody in D.C. has dirt on everybody else. They all swim or they all sink. Every incumbent must be voted out. The only way the swamp will get drained is through term limits.
Their agenda
“Since the pyramids in ancient Egypt were built by slaves, should we tear those down? If supposed symbols of hatred and racism must be destroyed, why don’t we hear calls from the left for the destruction of the death camps. Talk about symbols of hate. Could it be that it doesn’t fit the left’s agenda?
Overlooked
“We talk about the Bill of Rights. there should be a Bill of Responsibilities. I think that’s a concept that is grossly overlooked.
