MOULTRIE, Ga. — Grant Chapel AME Church invites the public to Family and Friends Day at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27. The theme is “A House Divided Shall Not Stand.”

Speaker will be the Rev. Samuel Pridgon of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church of Ty Ty.

Pridgon has spent many years studying the Bible, often refers to the original language of the Bible, and extensively researches his sermons, according to a press release from Grant Chapel.

He is the self-published author of the book “Theocratic Leadership.

He is married to Kasandra (Scott) Pridgon. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
