Colquitt County FFA has two national finalists

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Two Colquitt County FFA members have been selected as national finalists to compete with their agricultural proficiency projects.
These students will compete this October in Indianapolis, Ind., at the National FFA Convention.
Libba Johnson, daughter of Scott and Laura Johnson, was selected as a national finalist in her agricultural proficiency area of veterinary science. Libba’s project consisted of working at Pineywoods Veterinary Clinic in Valdosta.
Garrett Harrell, son of Julie Harrell, was selected as a national finalist in his agricultural proficiency area of agricultural processing. Garrett’s project involved working at Mobley Plant Company.
Both Libba and Garrett won their proficiency contests at the state level and will no represent the state of Georgia.
