Gospel sing to benefit Easterseals Solutions day program

The Faithful Servants.

TIFTON — A Night of Southern Gospel benefitting the Tifton Easterseals Solutions Day Program will be held Saturday, August 19 at the Tift Theatre.

The event is free, but a love offering will be taken to cover all costs and the remaining proceeds will go to the day program.

The sing will feature groups Three 4 One and the Faithful Servants.

Piano music by Linda Petty will begin when the doors open from 5 to 6 p.m. The singing will begin at 6 p.m.

Three 4 One members are Andrea Dean (alto), Eric Gonzales (lead) and Kyle Dean (baritone).

The Faithful Servants members are Pam Purvis (vocals), Brenda Saunders (vocals and keyboard), Gary Graham (vocals) and Steve King (drums).

The Easterseals Tifton day program provides services for adults with disabilities. It helps ensure that “people with developmental disabilities experience valued roles in the community by providing services and training that supports individual choices and opportunities,” according to the Easterseals website.

They focus on community exploration, communication skills, social interaction, self-help and daily living, recreation, work experience and self advocacy.

Easterseals Southern Georgia currently offers the following services for adults and children: residential, respite/family support, community living support, day programs, Megan’s House and Champions for Children adult services.
