Change needed:“Moultrie Police needed a change. Crime was up and drugs rampant, bad morale issues among employees, highest turnover rate ever, and hiring officers that had been fired from their departments, some still there.
The new interim chief has a lot of work to do to improve the reputation of the Moultrie police.

Mosquito issue
“Now with West Nile Virus and other mosquito-born illnesses in Albany and other close places, City of Moultrie has not had a mosquito sprayer, drive around our neighborhood for a few years now! HELLO!
Dress code
“I wish that the board of education would adopt a school uniform dress code. Parents think this would take away from their child’s rights of expression or individuality. If a child is taught self confidence, it doesn’t matter what he wears.
Learning will increase, bullying will be down, fighting would be down and parents can save money. Weekends express individuality.
Show some interest

Shakeups?
“Why did the city council think they needed to go outside of the police department for a interim chief? Is there something going on within the department that will lead to other shakeups?
This just seems like a takeover and caught people by surprise, even Chief Lang and some of the other city employees.
Spending money
“Once again the city council has no regard of spending money unnecessarily. If the chief was not doing his job, let him go! Why pay him for two more years to sit around and do public relations, a job he should have been doing all along.
Will he sue the city if he is fired? Is there a bigger problem?
Eclipse
“I hope everyone will be out on August 21st to see the solar eclipse. This event last occurred in the United States in 1918 and it will be another 100 years before it occurs again. Probably very few of us living today will be alive when the next solar eclipse occurs across the US.
