LIVE OAK — While practice just began July 31, the Suwannee High football team is less than a week away from facing its first opponent.

North Florida’s 2017 High School Football Road Map

The Bulldogs will scrimmage Williston on Saturday at 9 a.m. The scrimmage, which will be just one half of play, will take place at Columbia High School in Lake City.

SHS then will travel to face Gadsden in the Kickoff Classic on Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. before opening the regular season at Fort White on Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Suwannee’s first home game is Sept. 1 when Columbia visits at 7:30 p.m. to battle for the Old Oaken Bucket.
