OneWay softball free camp at Goff Complex

MOULTRIE – OneWay Softball is holding a free Saturday morning camp on July 29 at the Jim Buck Goff Complex for T-ball boys and girls ages 5-6 and girls softball ages 7-10.
“We are going to be trying to boost numbers for the Rec program, which dipped this year,” said Craig Perryman. coach of OneWay. “As per our mission statement, we will also be teaching basic skills as well as Biblical principals. OneWay Softball is composed of local Travel teams that strive for excellence in fastpitch softball and Christ honoring lifestyles.”
The camp only requires an adult sign the kids up at registration. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the camp goes from 9-12. OneWay will provide water and refreshments to the campers with numerous water breaks.
Former Packer and Georgia Tech star Cole Pitts will be coaching 5-6 year olds. OneWay coaches Perryman. James Horne, Ricky Allegood, Carl Brown, Brad Plymel and Jeffery Durance will be teaching the 7-10 girls only fastpitch group.
“We encourage parents to be involved and learn proper technics to help their kids grow as players,” said Perryman. “We will be handing out some info on basic skills.
