Thefts
Sheriff’s Office
• Laura Olson, 100 block Roth Street, reported the theft of consumable goods valued at $2 on July 15.
• Cora B. Ethridge, 200 block Clinton Road, reported July 14 that $15,000 in cash was taken from a safety box in her residence. She provided law enforcement with the name of a suspect.
• Dimitri Artzibusher reported July 14 that a generator, air compressor and battery charger were taken from a hunting camp he has on Lonnie Brookard Road. He last saw the items, valued at a total of $1,000, on Jan. 10.
• Theresa Chastain, 7100 block Highway 37 West, Hartsfield, reported jewelry, electronics and other items valued at a total of $821 were taken from her residence between July 1 and July 14.
• Dyanna Price, 500 block 26th Avenue Southeast, reported a king-size bed, a recliner, a rocker recliner, a television and TV stand, a washing machine and a dryer were taken from a house in the 100 block of Newsome Road.
• Louise Ross, 100 block Livingston Bridge Road, Norman Park, reported July 16 that a family member left her residence with five or six DVDs valued at $5 each.
• Estel A. Martinez, 1300 block Alton Road, Ellenton, reported July 16 that her purse was taken from her car at her residence. The purse contained $600 as well as personal documents.
• David Kelly, 3000 block Ellenton-Norman Park Road, reported July 18 that multiple items valued at $67 were taken from his residence.
• Juan Luna, 100 block Central Avenue in Ellenton, reported items valued at $935 were taken from his residence July 18.
Fraud
Sheriff’s Office
• Arthur Sonny Richter, of Moultrie, reported July 10 that two purchases of pool products totaling $1,035.69 were made to his Visa card. One order was shipped to an Albany, Ga., address; Richter was able to contact the company and stop the other.
• Dorthy Pearce, 200 block Smokey Bear Road, Norman Park, reported July 15 that she received five canceled checks made out to a family member, but Pearce said she didn’t write the checks. The forged checks totaled $300.
Violence
Sheriff’s Office
• Brittany Murphy, of Norman Park, reported two women hit her July 15, causing a black eye. The women told the deputy they didn’t start the fight; it was a mutual altercation, they said.
• Wayne Baggett, 800 block Doc Darbyshire Road, reported July 14 that shots were fired in the vicinity of his residence.
• Dustin Kastelic, 1200 block Doc Darbyshire Road, reported July 15 that a male family member was in a physical altercation with Kastelic’s grandmother on Yogi Bear Road in Norman Park.
