Crybaby: “Trump is now blasting his special prosecutor and Jeff Sessions, his attorney general. Trump is the biggest crybaby I’ve ever seen.

Bully pulpit

“So Trump uses Twitter as his bully pulpit but he blocks people who want to respond. He’s the most unpresidential person we’ve ever had in the White House.

A little rest

“Now that O. J. is back in the news for the networks to obsess and fawn over maybe Trump and his family can get a little rest.

On his case

“Our president can’t get any work done because the press is constantly on his case!

Support the cops

“So you are disappointed in our law enforcement because of the drug issues here? Well our lawmen go to work every day facing the many dangers that can claim their lives. They can only do so much. I appreciate their efforts. It’s an uphill battle on their best day. They could use more public support as opposed to criticism.

Complacent

“People don’t attend public meetings because they are complacent about our democracy. They take it for granted. Yet they will complain profusely when things don’t go their way. Funny how it works that way.

My voice

“ In response to the person who chided us for complaining about our city garbage system. That is my right to complain and make suggestions. You imply that I should be concentrating on poverty, crime etc. As for poverty, I am a compassionate person who gives to the needy and I pay my fair share of taxes. As for crime, I support local law enforcement and to supplement that factor, I am further protected by Remington and Smith and Wesson. So stuff that in you pipe and smoke it.

Traffic lights

“Why aren’t the traffic lights on East and West Central not synchronized like the ones on First Avenue?

Good idea

“I think it would be a great advantage to motorists and public safety (getting to the hospital) if indeed there was that cutoff to link Veterans Parkway with the Quitman Highway.

NAFTA

“With reference to NAFTA, in the modern world trade agreements are necessary and seldom are they perfect. The key is to make them as fair to us as possible. Just recently, Sonny Perdue stopped Brazil beef from coming in because of health quality concerns.
