HOOVER, Ala. – For the second year in a row, McGill-Toolen of Alabama eliminated the Colquitt County High Packers from the USA Football National Championship 7-on-7 bracket Saturday. Colquitt County was the No. 4 seed after pool play Thursday and Friday, then went 2-1 in the single-elimination format – all games against Alabama squads – at the Hoover Met.

McGill-Toolen, which was No. 5 seed, won the showdown with Colquitt County 24-11.

To start the day, the Packers defeated No. 29 Minor, Ala, 26-8. Next was a tight affair with No. 20 Central of Phenix City ending 13-12.
