LIVE OAK, Fla. — A Lake City man was charged with attempted felony murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Thursday.

According to the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, Zane Alexander Ricks, 25, of Lake City, entered a home with a loaded .357 revolver and intentionally pointed it in the direction of the victim.

The report said the suspect, in a fit of rage, pointed the weapon in the direction of the victim and told the victim “I will shoot you in the f****** head right now.”

The report states the suspect then aimed and fired the revolver in the direction of the victim’s head.

According to the report, the bullet missed her by approximately six inches and was discovered to have penetrated the wall next to the victim

The report states that suspect then pointed the same revolver in the direction of two other victims and stated he would shoot and kill both victims.
