Dickey is described as “an African American male, approximately 5’11” and weighing approximately 160 pounds.”

The suspect has an active arrest warrant for felony aggravated assault and detectives will be applying for additional arrest warrants, Bembry said in a report.

“Dicky is to be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows of Dickey’s whereabouts, they are urged to contact E-911 immediately,” Bembry said.

The victim was shot in the upper arm or shoulder area after a dispute and was transported to the hospital. The victim has since been released, according to Bembry.

A second shooting, believed to be unrelated, occurred Sunday evening in the 1600 block of Fresno Street.

The victim in that incident was shot in the shoulder after a dispute between multiple parties.

No information is currently available regarding the appearance of the suspect involved in the second shooting, according to Bembry.

The victim was transported in the hospital and is in stable condition.

“There is no evidence at this time that the shootings are in any way related,” Bembry said.

“If anyone has information regarding the incidents, they are asked to contact the Valdosta Police Department.”
