Hardin is the head coach of the CCHS basketball team. He is passionate about his job, the boys he coaches, and God, the club said.

He recently received a lot of media attention for a noble act while on vacation: He and his wife Kendra recently went to Panama City Beach. While on the beach, a family got into trouble in the water. Hardin did not hesitate to help. Using a float his wife had purchased, he was able to save three lives. A fourth was saved by another gentleman. He would not take credit for what he did that day, but gave all the credit to God, the Kiwanis Club said.
