Valdosta State University announces spring graduates

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Valdosta State University is proud to announce the members of its graduating class of Spring 2017.
More than 1,100 undergraduate and graduate students were recognized during VSU’s 223rd commencement ceremonies May 5-6. The Spring 2017 celebration featured a keynote address by Nathan Deal, who was elected Georgia’s 82nd governor in 2010 and re-elected in 2014, and a full fireworks display over the iconic West Hall dome on the university’s front lawn.
Moultrie-area graduates include:
• Jacob Bishoff of Omega, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
• Rebecca Clark of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
• Tieshia Davis of Pavo, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and Technology.
• Kathryn Faircloth of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
• Matthew Flannigan of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
• Brittney Fries of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
• Jazmin Garza of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
• Kasey Griner of Moultrie, who earned a Master of Social Work.
• Taylor Hoes of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood Education.
• Murphy Hopkins of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication.
• Amanda Hurst of Moultrie, who earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education.
• Heather Ireland of Meigs, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
• Nedra Moore of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Assistant Studies.
• Nancy Passmore of Norman Park, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
• Katherine Phillips of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood Education.
• Morgan Robinson of Meigs, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
• Tyler Snipes of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
• Kati Stephan of Doerun, who earned an Education Specialist in Educational Leadership.
• Anna Stripling of Moultrie, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and Technology.
• William Wilson of Doerun, who earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
