Speaking up for Trump

Dear editor:

I have not written in long while, but I think it is time to set the record straight.

I have lived through presidents from FDR to Obama and have never seen the mess our government is in. It seems like both parties have sunk as low as they can go, and when you think you have seen everything, it gets lower.

Never have I seen protests for every word. When you lose an election you live with it until the next election.

We finally get a president who is trying to do the right things for America, who has his own party in control of both houses and can’t get the time of day from them.

We have some Republican rhinos who are trying to undermine the president by opposing him at every turn.

John McCain, Marco Rubio, Lindsay Graham, Paul Ryan, John Kasich, Ron Johnson, are all on George Soros payroll. Ever since the election of Donald Trump, he has had to fight off abuse from the bought-and- paid-for media.

The Paris Agreement does nothing for America other than make us the worldwide piggy bank. For us to participate it would cost us almost a trillion dollars per year. Paper manufacturing, cement manufacturing, and natural gas cut by 10 percent to 30 percent. Steel, iron ore, and clean coal cut from 60 to 80 percent. Millions of jobs would be lost because of these cutbacks. The price of not only energy but everything would go up.

The leading polluter China has 2030 to clean up its act and cost them nothing until then. Wouldn’t you rather we keep all these jobs and continue to look for clean coal energy as we are doing?

If all countries stuck to the plan it would only reduce the temperature 2/10ths of one degree Celsius by the year 2100. Are you kidding me, we spend trillions to drop the temperature less than 1 degree. I think President Trump has made a wise decision to drop this.
