Tift Theatre hosts “The Wedding Singer”

TIFTON — Opening night for The Wedding Singer at the Tift Theatre for the Performing Arts was Thursday, June 15.

It is rated PG-13, and is based off the movie of the same name.

The plot is very similar to the 1998 movie starring Adam Sandler as Robbie and Drew Barrymore as Julia.

The show runs Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults or $8 for students and seniors. They can be purchased in advance online at FreshTix.com or at the door the day of the performance with cash or check.

The cast includes people from not only Tifton, but Fitzgerald, Ashburn, Moultrie and Adel, and the ages range from 16 to 70.
