TIFTON — The American Red Cross is hosting blood drives in Tifton beginning Friday, June 16.

According to the Red Cross, summer is typically the time of year donations slow down, and all blood types are needed.

The locations and times for the blood drives are:

• Friday, June 16 from 2-6 p.m. at the Tifton Mall

• Tuesday, June 20 from noon until 6 at Tifton United Methodist Church

• Wednesday, June 21 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Southern Regional Technical College

• Friday, June 23 from 1-5:30 p.m. at the Tift Regional Medical Center

• Monday, July 3 from 2-6 p.m. at the Tifton Mall

• Monday, July 10 from 3-7 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church

• Monday, July 10 from 4-8 p.m. at Ty Ty Baptist Church

• Tuesday, July 18 from noon until 6 at Tifton Methodist Church

• Wednesday, July 19 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at ABAC

• Thursday, July 20 from 3-7 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church

• Friday, July 21 from 1-5:30 p.m. at Affinity Clinic

To ensure a successful donation, be sure to hydrate, wear comfortable clothing, eat, bring a list of any medications and an ID.
