MOULTRIE, Ga. — Lily Watson, Vickie Watson and Erica York put up squash and green beans at Colquitt County’s canning plant.

The canning plant, located across from Walmart at 710 Lane St., is open for full-time operation — 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday — until July 12, except that it will be closed July 4. The canning plant will also open 8 a.m.-noon on three Saturdays, June 24, July 1 and July 8.
