MOULTRIE, Ga. — Volunteers with Home Depot’s Warrior Outreach assembled in Moultrie Thursday, June 8, to make repairs to the Brandi Drive home of Joyce Burns.
Burns’ husband, Carlton, served in the Army from 1979 to 1982. The couple had planned improvements to the property, but he died in 2015 before the work was done.
About 40 volunteers from Home Depot stores in Moultrie, Albany, Valdosta, Cordele and Dothan, Ala., installed a new door, siding, and a washer and dryer, and did landscaping work.
