Plate sale

Plate sale

Union Missionary Baptist Church, 103 Second St. N.W., will hold a plate sale 12:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11. Menu will be a choice of fried or baked chicken; a choice of three sides, dressing with gravy, green beans, seasoned rice, squash casserole or corn pudding casserole; bread; dessert; and drink. Dine in or take out for $8.

Vacation Bible School

Macedonia Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School 5-7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, June 12-14. The theme is “Celebrating Jesus.”
