Manhunt ongoing in White Springs

- A manhunt is underway in White Springs for Damon Crosby.
WHITE SPRINGS — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its search for an armed man in White Springs.
Damon Sha Crosby is wanted for attempted murder.
According to Sheriff Harrell Reid, Crosby shot at a bail bondsman Tuesday when he attempted to take him into custody at an apartment complex in White Springs.
Reid said the man ran into a wooded area following the shooting.
Crosby is a 39-year old white man with a shaved head. He is 6-foot and 160 pounds.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.
Crosby has an active felony warrant out of Columbia County for Failure to Appear.
Reid said Crosby is considered armed and dangerous.
