Chamber celebrates chapel

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting for The Chapel at Sundown Farms Plantation located at 894 Mack Dekle Road in Colquitt County. 

The 111-year-old chapel was moved from Leesburg, Ga., in July of 2016 and was recently restored. Sundown is an event venue for quail hunting, weddings, reunions, parties, and corporate meetings.

The public is invited to an open house 2-4 p.m. Sunday, which includes a dedication ceremony at 3 p.m.
