Symbolic butterflies given to Stringfellow students

- Last fall, Cheryl Willis’s second grade class at Stringfellow Elementary School joined students and scientists across North America to track the monarch butterflies migration to Mexico. This spring the class received symbolic monarch butterflies from students in states along the migration route. These symbolic butterflies serve as ambassadors that represent shared interests and common conservation goals, a school spokeswoman said.
