Dear readers:

For several years now The Moultrie Observer has produced a popular magazine titled “Downhome.”

This has proved a very popular quarterly project for us. Like most products, there comes a time for review to make sure that it’s best serving our readers and advertisers.

We have recently completed a review that involved input from quite a number of magazine designers. We all agreed that we needed to add a fresh touch to this product to better serve our growing and multi-faceted community.

With the spring edition, you will see changes, starting with the name of the product. It will now be known as “Moultrie Scene.”

We will continue to publish on a quarterly basis. We will continue to highlight people and events in our community in magazine fashion with brilliant color pages. As well there will be added features that we feel will appeal to a broader cross-section of the community.

Our desire is to better serve our readers and to provide a better medium through which our advertisers may grow their markets.

We appreciate your participation in “Downhome” all these years. You helped us make it a great success. And we invite you to continue your involvement in “Moultrie Scene” as we take this product to the next level which not only will be available in the traditional magazine print venue but also will have a strong internet presence.
