MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Kiwanis Club of Moultrie was invited to make one morning extra special for staff and students at Cox Elementary School a few days before the end of school.
Club members arrived in the wee hours of the morning for preparations and starting cooking pancakes at 6:45 a.m. to be sure to have enough for more than 700 hungry mouths.
Club members learned from school staff that some of the students had never tasted pancakes before, a spokeswoman said.
