Rev. Donatravious Simmons.

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 Eighth St. N.W., will observe its annual Youth Crusade Tuesday, May 30, through Thursday, June 1, at 7 p.m. nightly. This year’s theme is “Youth Turning to Jesus,” based on II Chron. 7:14.

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Dontravious Simmons of Albany. Simmons, 22, is the son of Tonya Gilbert Banister and Tracy Simmons of Albany. He was licensed to preach the gospel on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014.

Currently enrolled at Darton State College, he is pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism.

Simmons is son of the house at Union Missionary Baptist Church of Albany, where he works with the youth, and he works with college ministries at Albany State and Darton State colleges.
