Witnesses state they saw these vehicles with young black males riding in them, the report states. Police located the vehicles soon after around 100th Street locked and hidden from view.

Police surveilled the vehicles until two black males walked directly through the closed gate and up to the vehicles, according to the report. Police announced themselves and the suspects ran away.

Gross fell down and was placed under arrest, the report states. He told police he was just looking at the cars.

The report also states that the same night the vehicles were stolen, a pawn shop was broken into, where the power meter was removed in the same fashion and guns were stolen.

According to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, Gross has been identified with three other subjects for the burglarizing the Wellborn Pawn Shop on the same night. Deputies recovered several stolen handguns and returned them to the owner.

The three other subjects arrested for the burglary are all under 18 years old. They have been charged with burglary while armed, grand theft firearm and fellny criminal mischief, according to the post.

Another SCSO post indicates that these suspects have also been charged with multiple other burglaries around the county, including Gold Leaf Pawn, Southside Pawn, and Games and More.
