Plate sale

Citadel of Hope Church of God in Christ will hold a plate sale to raise funds for church related activities, beginning at noon Friday, May 12. Plates will cost $8.50 each and will contain fried chicken or smothered fried pork chops, green beans, rice, cream corn, roll and banana pudding. Women’s Day

St. Matthew’s Holiness Church will hold a Women’s Day program at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 14. Speaker will be Essie King, and the pastor is Joe Roberts.
