Big Bang: “Science is wonderful, but scientists sometimes think they know more than God.  Take the Big Bang Theory for example.  This is stupidest idea of creation that I have ever heard.  Something big blew up and all these wonderful planets came from that explosion.  Really!

Space parameters

“Scientists think they can answer infinite questions with finite minds.  If you want to see a blank look on a scientist’s face, ask him or her where space ends.  Where is the sign that says, ‘Stop, no more space out this direction.’  The saying every thing has a beginning and an end is a false idea.

State exams

“At CCHS the underclassmen are taking standardized state exams and the seniors are having to stay on campus during all testing. This is not fair! Students taking MOWR and Work Based Learning should be able to leave campus to get to other classes and work! Why is there not a plan for these students? Are they not important?

Testing process

“What’s the deal with CCHS doing all online testing this year. There have been several problems with sections of the test not submitting and students having to restart. The whole school had to wait an hour and a half extra on Wednesday and it cut into lunchtime! Whatever happened to good ole pencil and paper?! They need physical copies!

Be careful

“Please be careful on our county’s roads. It’s that time of year when farming is planting is really going strong and there will be slow moving vehicles and tractors on the roads. We need heavy concentration from motorists and tractor drivers.

My experience

“I spent many days in a science laboratory. Never once did I think I was God.

Flat-earthers

“I appreciate this column. It allows us to express ourselves without losing our jobs. Still, I’m amazed at how many flat-earthers we have out there.

Applause

“I want to applaud Archway’s High Potential Leader project. I think this helps set the stage for a better tomorrow in our community.

Do we know?

“I understand that big company that was looking at Spence Field decided to locate instead in Alabama. Do those people ever give us reasons for their choices?
