MOULTRIE, Ga. —The advertising staff of The Moultrie Observer recently won six awards from the Georgia Press Association for its work in 2016.

The honors included first place, Best Home Furnishings and Appliances Ad; first place, Best Small Page Ad; second place, Best Signature Page for a page published in January honoring recipients of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce awards; second place, Best Apparel, Jewelry & Accessories Ad; second place, Best Health Care Ad; and second place, Best Special Section for the Welcome to Moultrie section published during the national diving championship held here last summer.
