Local officers file drug charges

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Multiple law enforcement made drug cases among recent arrests, with Moultrie officers’ tally including Arthur Clinton Jennings, 41, 1594 Shade Murphy Road, who was charged Saturday with possession of drug-related object, possession of a Schedule IV substance, drugs not in original container and probation violation.

In other arrests

• Matthew Lance Bridges, 39, 109 West Blvd., was charged Saturday with possession of methamphetamine and possession and use of drug-related object.

• Kadeidra Shacole Yates, 613 12th St. S.W., was charged Thursday with obstruction of an officer.

Norman Park Police

• Joel Thomas Conger, 47, 330 S. Railroad St., was charged Thursday with possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of an officer, criminal trespass and use of fighting words/abusive language on a phone call.

Sheriff’s Office

• Joseph Ryan Branch, 24, 608 First St. S.E., was charged Thursday with parole violation and probation violation.

Thefts

Moultrie Police

• Venda Rae Hill, 54, Moultrie, reported Monday the theft of property valued at $35 while she was in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue Northwest on Saturday.

Sheriff’s Office

• Jeremy Henry, 100 block Horne Street, Norman Park, reported Monday the theft of a black Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistol valued at $350.

• Johnny Haynes, 30 block East Bethel Avenue, reported Sunday that the driver of a white Dodge pickup truck who backed into the ditch in front of his yard damaged his chain link fence.
