MOULTRIE, Ga. — Local law enforcement is investigating a collision between a passenger car and a farm tractor that took place shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday on Veterans Parkway near Lasseter Tractor Co.

A witness at the scene said the silver car was changing lanes to pass the John Deere tractor and struck its left rear tire.

The driver of the tractor was thrown off, and the tractor went into a drainage ditch.

No other details were immediately available Tuesday night, including the identities of the drivers.
