MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County Arts Center recently held a patron celebration unveiling the Evelyn King Vereen Memorial Service Award.

Vereen, who died Sept. 10, 2016, was a member of several community organizations and served on numerous committees that benefited Colquitt County. A volunteer will be chosen annually to receive the recognition in her honor.
