TIFTON — Tifton police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a local man wanted in connection to a March 22 aggravated assault.

A warrant was issued for Germaine Lamont Lane, 19, of Tifton for aggravated assault.

According to the police incident report, the victim reported that someone shot through her window into her apartment and that she had been having a heated conversation with Lane via text message.
