“A word to my fundamentalist friends. Much of the New Testament was written many years after the death of Christ. This was not a time of mass communication so I would imagine that a lot of what was written was anecdotal. As well, some books did not make the Bible. That was a decision by a panel of church leaders. There’s a Gospel of Thomas that did not make the cut. Research a little history to accompany the scriptures.
