• Terrell Ray Croft, 66, 100 Tara St., was charged Monday with theft by taking.

• Graviela Herrera, 20, 119A Yates Lane, was charged Sunday with use of fighting words.

• Chadwick Demetrix Pittman, 26, 340 Cobblestone Blvd., was charged Monday with interference with a 911 call and battery (family violence).

• Quinterra Jones, 410 N. Hansell St., Thomasville, was charged Monday with forgery.

Moultrie Police

• Benjamin Jerome McGee, 35, 721 First St. S.W., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct.

• James Walker III, 27, 1816 Garden Villa Drive, was charged Monday with suspended license.

Thefts

Moultrie police

• Willie Lewis, 1110 block First Avenue Northwest, reported Monday the theft of a 2003 Cadillac DeVille.  

• Brianna McInvayle, 10 block Bracken, reported Sunday the theft of property valued at $99 in household goods and other belongings.

• Onelion Alvarez, 39, Moultrie, reported Friday the theft of a bag containing $650 from a van parked in the 400 block    of Veterans Parkway North.

• CVS Pharmacy, 1027 S. Main St., reported Friday that a shoplifter stole merchandise valued at $35.

Sheriff’s Office

• George Brumbley, 100 block South Manning Street, reported Monday the theft of a Poulan push lawn mower valued at $200.

• John Hall, 900 block Pineboro Road, reported Monday that an employee had been caught on video loading plants into his car for which he did not pay.

Burglary

• Patrick Moncrief, 1900 block Moye Road, Norman Park, reported Friday the theft of firearms valued at $3,100 and other property valued at $900.

• Richard Kinsey, 2200 block Sylvester Drive, reported Saturday the theft of property valued at $670.

Kinsey told police that it appeared someone had lived in the residence during his absence.

Battery

Moultrie Police

• Matthew Garrett, 2900 block East Central Avenue, reported Sunday that two male acquaintances attacked him during an afternoon incident.

Sheriff’s Office

• Heather Jones, 800 block Cook Road, reported that a male companion slapped her in the face and kicked her leg during an argument.

Fraud

Moultrie Police

• Kelley Kichler, 39, Moultrie, reported Friday an incident of financial transaction card fraud in the amount of $700.

Sheriff’s Office

• Daniel Padillo, 100 block Crosland-Scooterville Road, Omega, reported Monday that someone opened an unauthorized cell phone account using his personal information.

Property damage

Moultrie Police

• Kelvin Clay, 1000 block Second Avenue Northwest, reported Friday that the rear windshield of his 1993 Buick LeSabre was broken.

• Maralyn William, 63, Moultrie, reported Saturday that a 2009 Toyota Tacoma was struck by another car while parked in the 2400 block of South Main Street.

Other reports

Sheriff’s Office

• John Burdon, 200 block 15th Street Northeast, reported Friday that a male acquaintance fired two gunshots after an argument in which the man’s girlfriend displayed a firearm.

Burdon told police that when the woman got the gun from the car he and his wife, Chicola Burdon, left in their car. Chicola Burdon tripped on the gravel driveway and injured her leg.

John Burdon reported hearing two gunshots as he was leaving the yard. No gunshots struck his car.
