Legacy Village names McLaughlin chaplain

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Pastor Ricky McLaughlin has been named the chaplain of Legacy Village at Park Regency assisted living and memory care facility in Moultrie, Ga. In this position, McLaughlin will hold semi-weekly Bible studies and will provide ministerial needs to the residents, family members and team members of Legacy Village at Park Regency.

McLaughlin is an ordained bishop in the Church of God and began his ministerial career in 1991. He is currently the pastor at Moultrie Church of God, where he has served since 2007.

“I love being able to come and visit with the residents each week. I view this position at Legacy Village as a special ministry opportunity. I am excited and honored to serve the residents, family members and team members,” McLaughlin, said.

“Pastor McLaughlin was always diligent in visiting our residents before he was named chaplain. We are excited that he is officially a part of the Legacy Village team as he continues to love and care for our residents,” Melissa Carr, executive director of Legacy Village at Park Regency, said.

McLaughlin will serve alongside Pastor Phillip Cook, chaplain coordinator of Cleveland, Tenn.-based management company, Legacy Senior Living. Cook oversees the chaplains at the family of senior living facilities that are operated by Legacy Senior Living.
