C.A. Gray Junior High School’s HOSA club traveled with Daphne Dale and Robin Kern to Atlanta for the HOSA State Leadership Conference last week. Twenty-one students competed in events that they have been preparing for since last semester. All of the eighth and ninth grade students represented C.A. Gray and Colquitt County very well, a school spokeswoman said, but three eighth graders placed in the top 15 in the state. From left are Angel Hernandez, who placed 13th in career display; eighth grade advisor Daphne Dale; and Shyanne Kelley and Abby Plymel, who placed ninth in career display.
