The fire department received the alarm at 4:05 p.m., the report said. Units arrived at 4:10, had the fire under control at 4:20 and were on scene until 6:30.

The fire department said the occupants had left about 30 minutes before the fire was reported.

The fire remains under investigation, Assistant Fire Chief Lamar Plymel said Wednesday.

“We didn’t see any cause for the fire,” Plymel said.

No electrical plug-ins are near the spot where the fire started, he said.

The American Red Cross was contacted to provide assistance to the residents, the fire department said.
