Firearms stolen out of unlocked cars

TIFTON, Ga. — Three guns were reported stolen out of unlocked vehicles last week.
The first report stated that a black Springfield 9mm handgun, which the owner valued at $475, was taken sometime between Feb 13 and Feb. 19, when the report was made.
According to the report, the truck was left unlocked while parked at a house on Wilson Avenue during that time and the gun and its holster was stolen from the center console.
The second burglary occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 and noon Feb. 20.
According to the report, the stolen gun was a Berreta 92D handgun, and it was taken from the vehicle, which was left unlocked while parked at the victim’s home on Ridge Avenue overnight.
The third burglary took place on the same night.
Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 and 10:20 a.m. Feb. 20, a Sig Sauer .40 caliber handgun, valued at $950, and its holster were stolen from a vehicle left unlocked overnight while parked at a house on West 14th Street.
The victim said the gun had a magazine with approximately 14 Hydra-Shok rounds and night sights with it.
There are no leads as of this time.
