Ga. Wildlife Federation president to speak at library

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Library and the Southwest Georgia Conservancy will host Mike Worley, president and CEO of the Georgia Wildlife Federation, at 6:30 p.m.  Tuesday, Feb. 28, in the library auditorium.

Worley will share information about the Georgia Wildlife Federation, its history and its programming.  He will also discuss the federation’s advocacy on behalf of hunters, anglers, wildlife and wildlife habitats as well as water policy.

Worley joined the GWF after a long and successful career at Georgia Power, where he held positions in environmental affairs and legislative affairs, as well as a senior manager position in community and economic development.  He earned a B.S. in biology from the University of West Georgia and is an avid hunter, angler and outdoors enthusiast.
