Plate Sale

A pastor appreciation plate sale will be held in honor of Bishop Billy Robinson 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Faith Temple House of Prayer on Second Street Northeast. Menu will be meatloaf with sauce, mac and cheese or chicken and rice, steamed cabbage, corn bread, and peach cobbler or iced brownie, with iced tea. Cost is $7.

Vigil for storm victims

ALBANY, Ga. — A vigil will be held for victims of the Jan. 22 storms at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Veterans Park, across from the Albany Civic Center. You may bring your own candles, and some will be provided as well. Five people died in the tornadoes and one boy remains missing.
