It won’t happen: “Not sure what you mean about expanding classrooms, but I assure you that consolidation could happen easily with the existing elementary schools we have, but that would mean the end to the privileged attending R.B. Wright and Sunset so it’ll never happen! 

Great things

“I see Sunset School in the news all the time, and it’s for the great things taking place there. I am thrilled that the school is on the upswing after a short decline! If you’re in the Sunset zone and you’re taking your kids to another school, you are missing out on fabulous teachers and outstanding leadership!

Job fair

“I see the school board is having a job fair. If you are a janitor or parapro and want to be a principal then you need to go to the Cox table because that’s how janitors and paraprofessionals act at Cox. They try to be the boss and discipline students and parents and it’s not their business!

Failing parents

“I’m tired of hearing about failing schools. Let’s put some focus on failing arents.

Not a new tax

“To the uninformed recreation authority ranter – the recreation authority is not another tax. Moultrie residents are already paying taxes that pay for the recreation department. In fact, the legislation opens the possibility for a reduction in taxes for recreation programs and places the funding decisions for recreation closer to the people instead of layered in the city budget.

Great news

“Kevin Giddens coming out of retirement? Great news for the recreation department! Parents and coaches miss your support at the high school level as athletic director.

Why worry?

“If you are in another county teaching then why worry about what is going on here. The student teaching at the school you work at is a university decision!

Parental factor

“If you checked the parental involvement status for parents at our lower achieving schools, then you will see the correlation! Parents need to step up and stop blaming everyone else especially the teachers!

 It’s satire, get over it

“To the people who are drawing these political cartoons, I know you are a Democrat and you need to get over it because the best one won.
