MOULTRIE, Ga. — What was either a misunderstanding or serious breach of roommate etiquette resulted Sunday in disorderly conduct charges for two men at their residence.

Jacques Horn, 19, told police that while he was in the bathroom he heard his roommate “pushing up” on his younger sister and making sexually suggestive comments to her.

Horn told police he told the roommate, 29-year-old Samuel Florentino to go to bed because he was drunk, and he threw Florentino’s 12 beers outside. Then, he said, Florentino charged at him and in defending himself he pushed Florentino to the floor.

Horn reported that Florentino rushed him a second time when he went outside to the area where the beer landed.

When questioned by an officer, Florentino said that had been drinking “and using illegal substances” before the altercation. He denied making sexually suggestive comments to Horn’s sister.

Police issued a subpoena to each on a charge of disorderly conduct.
