Grant Chapel to hold Evening in White

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Evergreen McBurrows WMS invites the public to its Evening In White at 4 p.m. Saturday Jan. 28.
The theme will be “Mold Me, Make Me, More Like You Lord,” and the message will be brought by the Rev. Veronica Chante’ Anderson-Lewis.
Anderson-Lewis was born June 17, 1967, in Great Falls, Mont., the middle child of Robert L. Anderson (Louise) and Thelma Anderson.
A cum laude graduate of Albany State College in 1989, she holds a B.S. in Business Management. At ASC she was on the dance team, sang in the gospel choir, and was active member of the NAACP. In 1987-88, she was voted Miss Albany State College and featured in the April 1988 issue of Ebony Magazine. She pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in that same year.
Anderson-Lewis earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology in 2008. She was featured in an 2013 issue of Tableaux, Mercer’s on-line magazine.
Anderson-Lewis accepted the call to preach in 2001. She has served as pastor of Inglewood A.M.E. Church in Eastman, Ga., (2009-2012) and Howard Chapel UMC Church in Dublin, Ga. (2012-2014).
She is currently the pastor of Jones Chapel A.M.E Church, Sylvester, Ga.
