The driver of the red car, which left a long rut on the side of the road after colliding with a truck before finally coming to rest in the ditch, was being treated in an ambulance at the site of a Tuesday afternoon crash on Highway 133 some six miles south of Doerun. The accident closed one lane of traffic at about 4 p.m. Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office and Volunteer Fire Department officials were directing traffic while waiting on the Georgia State Patrol to send a trooper to investigate.
